If you are into action sports photography you shouldn’t hessitate to submit some of your photos to the worldwide Red Bull Illume photo contest. Deadline is april 30th.

The Red Bull Illume submissions window is gently swinging closed – just eight weeks remain for photographers to submit their best action and adventure sports shots. Submissions will close on April 30th so there is still plenty of time to go through your image library and enter your favorites. Photographers are able to submit up to 50 images, five images per category, so there are plenty of slots available to showcase your best work!

The House of Vans returns to Berlin by popular demand from January 15 to 18 2013, to host 3 memorable nights of music, photography, skate culture and street fashion in collaboration with creative forces Firmament, Boiler Room and skate legends Ray Barbee and Tommy Guerrero at Stadtbad Oderberger Straße, the “People’s Bathhouse of Berlin.”

The House of Vans is a platform for creative self-expression that hosts’ art, music, and skate events at its permanent location in Brooklyn, New York and through international pop up events like last year’s House of Vans Berlin which featured performances by artists like Yassin Bey and Lupe Fiasco as well as art installations by Dimitri Coste, Chris Kong and Eric Elms.

De Vans Shop Riot zit er weer aan te komen. Zondag 9 September is het zo ver.
Traditioneel gaan we voor de Benelux qualifier natuurlijk weer naar Burnside, de inventor of the Shop Riot (shop battle, battle of the shops)
Naast de € 1000,- Euro die te verdelen is over de top 3 gaat de winnaar weer all expenses paid naar de Shop Riot finale.
Dit jaar zal de finale in Duitsland gehouden worden.
De eerste teams hebben zich al weer ingeschreven voor dit mooie event…..
Voor de deelnemende Belgen zijn er weer bedden gereserveerd…

Op Zaterdag avond is er een feestje in het Burgerweeshuis in Deventer. De teams die zich op Zaterdag al inschrijven krijgen gratis entree voor dit mooie feesje en een paar consumpties van Monster energy.
